ANALYSIS: Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman is finally showing why he was a first-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Bateman has totaled double-digit fantasy points in PPR formats in three straight games and four of the past five contests. In Week 7, the 24-year-old wideout caught four passes for a career-high 121 yards and one touchdown.

Bateman has been a sneaky flex option over the last few weeks and just finished as the WR3 in PPR formats. However, he should only be added in 14-plus team leagues heading into Week 8.
While Bateman has finished as a top-30 fantasy wide receiver in three straight games, his target share remains extremely low. He has seen four targets or less in five of the past six contests and will enter Week 8 with only a 15.7% target share. That low target share will make him a risky play each week. Nonetheless, he can still be a solid add in deeper formats, considering he has totaled at least 70 receiving yards in back-to-back games.
