BALLER MOVE: Start in 14-Team Formats
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR5
ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Quentin Johnston has had a rocky first season in the NFL, but injuries in Los Angeles have elevated him to the No. 2 receiver role, giving him some upside in deeper formats, especially considering he seems to have found something over the past two games. Back in Week 14 against Denver, he caught three passes for a season-high 91 yards. Then against the Raiders this week, he caught two of his three passes for 23 yards and a touchdown, his second of the season.
Of course, his upside is capped by a poor matchup this week, as the Chargers—who are starting Easton Stick at quarterback—face the Buffalo Bills, who allow the ninth-fewest passing yards per game in the NFL this season. It's going to be tough for this Chargers offense to move the football.
Still, the rookie is coming off a game in which he played a season-high 92% of the team's offensive snaps. He should have an opportunity to earn a good number of targets going forward, giving him some fantasy upside, even if this is likely going to be a tough one for him.
