Puig (Hamstring) Starts Game 4 For Dodgers

Yasiel Puig will make his first start of the 2015 postseason on Tuesday for Game 4 against the New York Mets.

The combination of a late-season hamstring strain and all right-handers for the Mets have caused a banged up Puig to come off the bench for the Dodgers. Since left-hander Steven Matz is on the mound, Puig will start in right field.

The 24-year-old has gone 0-for-2 off the bench throughout the first three games of the postseason. Matz second career start was against the Dodgers back in early July this season. Puig went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. Mats went six innings of two-hit ball with no runs allowed for the victory back in July.

Other changes for the Dodgers lineup include Justin Ruggiano starting in left field and Enrique Hernandez being moved up to the leadoff spot.

In a must-win game down 2-1 in the series, this is the news Dodgers lineup: Hernandez CF, Howie Kendrick 2B, Adrian Gonzalez 1B, Justin Turner 3B, Corey Seager SS, Puig RF, A.J. Ellis C, Ruggiano LF, Clayton Kershaw SP.
