Zachary Jones Set To Make NHL Debut On Thursday
4 years agoNew York Rangers defenseman Zachary Jones will make his NHL debut on Thursday as his team clashes with the Philadelphia Flyers. The 22-year-old, who signed an entry-level contract with the Rangers on April 13th, is coming off a season at the University of Massachusetts in which he posted 24 points (nine goals, 15 assists) en route to winning a National Championship. Jones is one of the Rangers' top prospects and will look to showcase his strong two-way ability immediately. Filling in for injured defenseman Jacob Trouba, Jones will likely be eased into action in his first NHL contest but he's definitely worth monitoring in keeper fantasy leagues moving forward.
