5 years agoNew York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said that the team's No. 5 rotation spot will be decided between pitchers Jordan Montgomery, Michael King, Jonathan Loaisiga, Luis Cessa and Deivi Garcia, calling it an "open competition." This comes with the news that James Paxton (back) will miss three to four months after undergoing surgery. Montgomery missed most of last season after having Tommy John surgery. He could be the most attractive in fantasy if he wins a spot by proving his health, but Loaisiga is also an intriguing option and Garcia is the club's top prospect, per MLB Pipeline.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
