When Toronto Blue Jays shorstop Aledmys Diaz left Sunday’s game with a left ankle injury, it looked bad. Many instantly thought he would be out for quite a while. That could still be the case, but there’s a bit of positive news here. Diaz’s X-rays came back negative, though he is still set to undergo an MRI. For now, the Blue Jays are calling it a sprain. If this injury means a negative impact for your fantasy team, your team likely has troubles far bigger than this. Diaz hasn’t been very productive after a hot first few games of the year. He’s slashing .216/.273/.431 with six home runs, 15 runs scored and 13 RBI across 110 plate appearances.--John Smith
