Hendrick Motorsports driver William Byron surprised many racers by forging into contention and then leading 102 of 267 laps on Sunday. Byron pulled away from the field and held off a charging Tyler Reddick by three seconds. Considering he started 31st, the driver was able to garner a top-five finish in Stage 1. After that, Byron was victorious in Stage 2 before sealing the deal at the end. This was Byron's second top-ten finish at Homestead but his first victory. Byron could very well contend in Las Vegas next week.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
