Will Fuller Being Placed On Injured Reserve
3 years agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Will Fuller (finger) will be placed on Injured Reserve after breaking his finger in the Week 4 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Fuller will now be out for at least three games and possibly longer. The 27-year-old missed the first two weeks of the season while finishing up his suspension, and he caught just four passes on eight targets for 26 yards in Weeks 3 and 4. His deep-ball abilities didn't really mesh well with backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett to begin with, so he was a pretty weak boom/bust WR4/flex option in deeper leagues. In his absence, DeVante Parker and rookie Jaylen Waddle could benefit from some more looks, while Albert Wilson and Preston Williams, among others, will compete for more playing time. Fuller can be dropped in most 12-team leagues.
