Washington Optimistic On Terry McLaurin
3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Terry McLaurin (hamstring) missed practice on Friday and is questionable for Week 6 against the Kansas City Chiefs, but head coach Ron Rivera said that the team used an abundance of caution after McLaurin said his hamstring "felt tight and sore" on Friday. McLaurin is expected to be on the field this Sunday, barring any further setbacks. The 26-year-old leads the team in catches (20), receiving yards (400) and receiving touchdowns (four) and could draw even more looks with Curtis Samuel (groin) and Cam Sims (hamstring) out again. Rookie Dyami Brown (knee) is questionable, so slot receiver Adam Humphries should be the most reliable target behind McLaurin. DeAndre Carter, who had his best game last week, figures to serve as the No. 3 receiver. Start McLaurin everywhere if he's active on Sunday.
