7/30:Colorado Rockies closer Wade Davis polished off the sweep against Oakland on Sunday by shutting them down to rack up save No. 30 on the season. Davis tossed his second straight perfect inning, striking out one along the way. He hasn't been the ultra-dominant reliever of past seasons, but Davis has still gotten the job done and tallied up an impressive number of saves that ties him for the NL lead with Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen. Any owner who has ridden the Davis train this far will just have to grin and bear the fact that he'll have some hiccoughs along the way and enjoy those sweet, sweet save numbers in the meantime.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
