Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Departs Early With Sore Knee
2 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (knee) left Friday's Grapefruit League game early with right knee discomfort. Guerrero singled early in the game and took second base on a throw to home, but his final steps into second base looked awkward. The Blue Jays will likely have an update on Guerrero after the game, and fantasy managers will want to check back for that. The 23-year-old made the All-Star team each of the last two seasons, but his 2022 campaign wasn't quite as productive with a slash line of .274/.339/.480 with an .818 OPS, 42 home runs, 97 RBI, 90 runs and eight stolen bases in 160 games. Even with a slight dip in production last year, Vladdy remains RotoBaller's top-ranked fantasy first baseman.
