1 year agoWashington Redskins tight end Vernon Davis was one of two under-the-radar players who performed reasonably well in the receiving game on Sunday against the Falcons (Maurice Harris being the other). Davis hauled in five of seven targets for 62 yards, and was more heavily involved in the offense than he has been all season. With that in mind, consider how quickly this game got out of hand for Washington. The Redskins fell behind early, and faced an all-hands-on-deck situation in the passing game. Davis has posted a couple of noticeable fantasy performances earlier in the season only to disappear for weeks thereafter. We need to see some consistency before considering him on fantasy rosters.--Chris O'Reilly - RotoBaller
