Kansas City Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu played 98 percent of the defensive snaps (1,205 of 1,230) last year, including the playoffs, according to Next Gen Stats. Known for his work mostly as a pass-defender, Mathieu's run-stopping ability ranked seventh-best among safeties in 2019. The Honey Badger was even better against the run in previous seasons with the Cardinals and Texans. His ability to play both the run and pass makes him extremely valuable to both Kansas City and fantasy owners in IDP leagues. The 28-year-old is entering his second year with the Chiefs in 2020 and had 75 tackles (63 solo), two sacks, four interceptions and 12 passes defensed last season, earning him his second first-team All-Pro nod.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
