1 year agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Tyquan Thornton (undisclosed) could begin the season on the active/PUP list, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss. The 22-year-old continues to manage an undisclosed soft-tissue injury that he suffered this spring. It sounds like he's still managing the issue and isn't quite ready yet. Thornton is an intriguing player as the Pats selected him in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He finished his first season with 22 receptions for 247 yards, and two touchdowns in 13 games. The expectation is that Thornton will compete with Kendrick Bourne for the WR3 role, assuming Thornton is healthy in camp. Thornton could end up with some deep league PPR value if he gets healthy by the beginning of the season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
