Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (shoulder), who suffered a dislocated shoulder in the Week 17 win over the New York Giants, will not play in the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. In addition to Higbee, the Rams will rest quarterback Matthew Stafford, running back Kyren Williams and wide receiver Cooper Kupp, and they could also limit other players' snaps. The Rams are locked into either the No. 6 or 7 seed in the NFC and want to keep their best players healthy heading into the postseason. The 31-year-old Higbee's injury could be serious enough to put him in jeopardy for the wild-card round next week. In a contest that will feel more like a preseason game on Sunday, rookie tight end Davis Allen could be busy with quarterback Carson Wentz running the show for the Rams' offense.--Keith Hernandez
