Tyler Glasnow Scratched From Monday's Start
Tyler Glasnow has been scratched from his start on Monday due to flu-like symptoms, according to Rob Biertempfel of The Athletic. The right-hander is competing with Joe Musgrove and Steven Brault for the final spot in the Pittsburgh Pirates' starting rotation. Glasnow's 11.74 ERA is not pretty, but the encouraging news is he has displayed better command this spring, walking only three batters in 7 2/3 innings to go with 13 strikeouts. He is coming off his worst start of the spring, however, so the illness will prevent him from erasing the bad taste for a few more days.
