Tyler Anderson Loses To Diamondbacks Tuesday
2 years agoDespite posting a quality start, Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Tyler Anderson picked up his fourth loss of the season in a 5-2 defeat at the hands of the Arizona Diamondbacks in Game 2 of a doubleheader on Tuesday. Anderson allowed three runs (none earned) on just two hits while walking two and striking out six in six innings of work in his return from the paternity list. Despite the loss, the 32-year-old veteran southpaw has now posted four straight quality starts, and he remains a must-start in his All-Star campaign. He's now 15-4 with a 2.52 ERA (3.40 FIP), a 1.01 WHIP, 125 strikeouts and 34 walks over 167 2/3 innings and 28 appearances (26 starts).
