3 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that rookie wide receiver Tutu Atwell (shoulder) will undergo season-ending shoulder surgery after he was injured in the Week 8 blowout win over the Houston Texans on Sunday. Atwell was being used as a return specialist in his rookie season, racking up 54 yards on 10 punt returns and 87 yards on five kickoff returns in eight games. The 22-year-old only ended up playing 10 offensive snaps in his eight games and wasn't targeted at all on offense. Veteran deep threat DeSean Jackson could be traded at the deadline on Tuesday, so rookie Ben Skowronek could see more opportunities behind Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods and Van Jefferson the rest of the way.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
