Trey Sermon Inactive On Monday Night
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Trey Sermon is a healthy scratch for the second straight week on Monday night against the Minnesota Vikings. Sermon latched on with the Eagles after he was cut by the San Francisco 49ers before the start of the regular season, but he's buried on the RB depth chart in Philadelphia behind Miles Sanders, Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott. The 23-year-old third-rounder really disappointed with plenty of opportunity in his rookie season with the Niners, carrying the ball 41 times for 167 yards (4.1 yards per carry) and one touchdown, adding only three catches for 26 yards in nine regular season games (two starts). He can be ignored for now in most fantasy leagues.
