Trevor Lawrence Dealing With Hamstring Tightness
4 years agoJacksonville Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer said that rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence (hamstring) is dealing with some hamstring tightness on Tuesday. Lawrence should be fine to return to the practice field on Thursday after an off day on Wednesday. The No. 1 overall pick of this year's draft wasn't expected to do much in organized team activities and minicamp to begin with after having surgery on his non-throwing shoulder back in February. But Lawrence's hamstring tightness doesn't seem to be a very serious issue at all. The Jags aren't rushing the 21-year-old from Clemson, but he's expected to be full go at training camp later this summer. Lawrence is an advanced passer with plenty of mobility, so he could become a low-end QB1 streamer in his rookie season in the right matchups.
