Trea Turner Homers in Three-Hit Game on Friday
Trea Turner was one of the lone bright spots on offense in the Phils' 4-3 win over the Athletics on Friday. The veteran went 3-for-5 from the leadoff spot, belting his fourth home run of the year, collecting two RBI, and stealing a base in the contest. Philadelphia's 2-3-4 hitters went a combined 0-for-10 against LHP Jacob Lopez. It was Turner's fourth multi-hit effort in the last five games, with 14 multi-hit efforts in 24 games since April 27, during which time the 31-year-old is slashing .371/.394/.543. For the season, the 3x All-Star is now hitting .310 with four home runs, 20 RBI, 34 runs scored, and 13 steals, making him a top 10 fantasy option at the position. Turner will face Jeffrey Springs on Saturday, whom he is 1-for-3 off of lifetime.
