Tommy Pham Could Be Traded
11 months agoNew York Mets outfielder Tommy Pham has become the team's most productive hitter in the last month or so. Since May 18, he is hitting .324 (33-for-102) with five home runs, nine doubles, a triple, 22 RBI, seven stolen bases and 15 runs scored in 30 games played. It has crossed Pham's mind that he could be traded before the Aug. 1 deadline with the Mets sitting at 36-45, 17.5 games out of first place in the National League East. The 35-year-old has been part of deadline deals in the past. He has become the everyday left fielder and is now hitting .273 (47-for-172) with eight homers, 31 RBI and nine steals in 60 games in Queens. For Pham, a change of scenery may be exactly what he doesn't need, as he seems to be pretty comfortable in his current situation in New York.
