Due to an upper-body injury, the 31-year-old sat out his first game of the season on Sunday versus the Florida Panthers. Ilya Solovyov filled the gap in the lineup, though he was limited to 9:40 of ice time. Meanwhile, Samuel Girard saw action next to Cale Makar on the first defensive pairing.
