Tim Patrick Has Become Denver's No. 2 Wideout
4 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick has fallen behind rookie Jerry Jeudy as the team's top wideout in recent weeks. However, Patrick still managed to catch four of his six targets for 61 yards in the blowout loss to the Raiders last week. If quarterback Drew Lock (ribs) doesn't play against the Dolphins this Sunday, we'd recommend avoiding Patrick as a WR3/4 in deeper leagues. The Miami defense is middle-of-the-pack in terms of fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts, but Patrick may also draw the coverage of cornerback Xavien Howard, which could prove to be a difficult matchup. You can find better upside receivers if Brett Rypien or Jeff Driskel are leading Denver's offense this weekend.
