Tim Patrick Catches Just Two Passes In Week 17
4 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick caught just two of four targets for 46 yards in the 32-31 loss to the division-rival Raiders in the Week 17 regular season finale on Sunday. It was a disappointing end to a solid season for Patrick, who really stepped up for the Broncos in the absence of their No. 1 receiver in Courtland Sutton (knee). The 27-year-old posted career-highs in receptions (51), targets (79), receiving yards (742), yards per catch (14.5), touchdowns (six), catch percentage (64.6) and yards per target (9.4) in 15 games in his third NFL season. Patrick failed to clear 50 yards in his final six games, but he was a consistent pass-catcher amid quarterback Drew Lock's struggles, and he even had two 100-yard games. He'll be a restricted free agent this offseason, though, and if he returns, he'll be the No. 3 behind Sutton and Jerry Jeudy on the depth chart.
