Tim Patrick Back At Practice Wednesday
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick (groin) returned to practice on Wednesday. Patrick has been in and out of practice for the last couple of weeks, and he didn't take part in the preseason-opening win over the Minnesota Vikings last Saturday as a result. The injury doesn't seem very serious, but Patrick could be on the outside looking in for the No. 3 receiver job as he battles with second-year wideout K.J. Hamler, who caught two passes for 105 yards and a touchdown against Minnesota. Patrick was Denver's most efficient and reliable receiver in 2020 with Courtland Sutton (knee) out for most of the year, and he averaged 14.5 yards per catch while leading the team in receiving yardage. However, as of right now, Patrick can be left to the waiver wire to begin the season in standard-sized leagues.
