1 year agoUFC flyweight contender Tim Elliott secured a stunning victory against Su Mudaerji on just five days' notice at UFC Fight Night 233. Elliott was filling in for an injured Allan Nascimento so the fight was contested in the bantamweight division. In a swift turnaround, Elliott, coming off a defeat to Muhammad Mokaev at UFC 294 in October, seized the chance for redemption against Mudaerji. During a scramble towards the end of the first round, Elliott locked up a tight arm-triangle choke and made Mudaerji spit up his blood before passing out.
