Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko stopped all but one shot on Monday night in a 2-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens. Since the road trip through Colorado and Vegas, Demko had still lost four of five games while allowing three or less goals. After a late first-period goal to Ryan Poehling, Demko stopped every single shot (22 in all). When the clock hit zero, Demko looked more relieved than anything. It was his seventh win of the season (fourth road win) that felt way more than just an ordinary win. Simply, Vancouver needs more of this from Demko to reverse the abysmal start.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
