4 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez will be activated from the COVID-19 injured list and will start in right field on Friday against Atlanta Braves left-hander Drew Smyly, according to industry sources. Hernandez spent the last week playing at the team's alternate training site, but he will return to the Blue Jays lineup on Friday for the first time in three weeks. The 28-year-old struggled to begin the 2021 season before contracting COVID-19, slashing just .207/.207/.310 with a homer and two RBI in 29 at-bats. Hopefully, he can pick things up for fantasy managers, but you may want to give him a little before immediately inserting him back into lineups.
