Teddy Bridgewater Will Not Play In Week 16
3 years agoDenver Broncos head coach Vic Fangio said that quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) will not play on Sunday against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. Bridgewater left the field on a stretcher and a cart last Sunday and stayed overnight in a hospital before being diagnosed with a concussion. It sounds as though Bridgewater could play in the final two regular season games, but the Broncos will keep him out this weekend. Drew Lock will have an opportunity to show that he belongs in the team's long-term plans against Vegas in his first start of 2021. Lock has gone 22-for-40 for 227 yards with a touchdown, two interceptions and two lost fumbles in limited action behind Bridgewater this year. He has plenty of arm strength but makes questionable decisions and turns the ball over way too much to be trusted in fantasy as anything more than a desperation QB2 in superflex leagues.
