Taylor Rogers Notches Seventh Save
Taylor Rogers worked a fairly easy ninth to pick up his seventh save of the season in Saturday's win over the Texas Rangers. Rogers picked up a strikeout, allowed a single, then fanned another batter and got a quick out to end the inning. The southpaw lowered his ERA to 2.73 along with an outstanding 41:5 strikeout-to-walk ratio. He is still working in tandem with Hansel Robles as the closer, though he has picked up three of the last five save chances, with Tyler Duffey picking up one.
