6 months agoWashington Capitals center Evgeny Kuznetsov notched a power-play goal for his third marker of the season while adding three assists and a plus-two rating in Wednesday's 5-2 win against the Vegas Golden Knights in a Stanley Cup Finals rematch. Head coach Todd Reirden was effusive in his post-game interview. "He has gotten off to an excellent start to the season. And how he finished the year last year, he is a difference maker. We're very fortunate to have a player like that, and he is just rounding out his game," Reirden said. He has managed at least one point in all three contests, tallying three goals, four assists and a plus-3 rating.--Daniel E. Dobish - RotoBaller
