Stevie Wilkerson Plates A Run In First Game Of Season Tuesday
Stevie Wilkerson made a nice first impression in Tuesday's 13-6 loss to the Rays. Wilkerson, who was playing his first game with the O's this season after being recalled from Triple-A Norfolk, went 2-for-4 with a single, a double, an RBI, and a strikeout. Wilkerson was recalled after the team designated Rio Ruiz for assignment, who was playing primarily second base. However, Wilkerson has shown that he can play all over the field, including pitcher. Wilkerson offer little in terms of fantasy value beyond the versatility as he has a career .219/.279/.365 slash line.
