New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard will go up against a stingy Jaguars defense this Sunday to begin the season. Shepard is looking to take a step forward in a revamped offense this season after battling injuries in 2017. He certainly deserves a roster spot on almost all fantasy teams but needs to be on the bench for Week 1. The Jaguars defense allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing wideout's last season and surrendered an average of only 110.50 receiving yards a game to opposing wide receiver groups. The 24-year-old is an excellent candidate to out-play his ADP this season but Week 1 may not bring the type of results fantasy owners are hoping to see.--Joey C - RotoBaller
