Steady Volume Will Be An Issue For KJ Hamler
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver KJ Hamler will be available in Week 1 of the regular season against the New York Giants despite sitting out the preseason finale with a non-COVID-19-related illness. Given Hamler's production during training camp and the preseason and Tim Patrick's limitations due to minor injuries, it looks like Hamler should open the season as Denver's No. 3 wideout behind Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy. The 22-year-old speed threat can fly down the field and is trending up with the season opener approaching, but fantasy managers in deeper leagues shouldn't expect Hamler to see consistent targets on a weekly basis. He's a true home run threat every time he touches the ball, but his big games will be hard to predict. Injuries were a big issue in Hamler's rookie season, too.
