Sonny Gray Gives Up Two Runs, Takes Loss
6 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray took a hard-luck loss against the Washington Nationals on Sunday. Gray allowed just two runs over five innings of work while striking out four and walking one. The veteran right-hander saw his record drop to 2-5 following the loss. Gray has looked good in his first season with the Reds, posting a 3.54 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 68 strikeouts in 61 innings of work. He is worthy of a roster spot in all 12-team mixed leagues thanks to his strikeout upside. Gray will see the Philadelphia Phillies his next time out.
