1 month agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani (elbow) will take batting practice with his teammates for the first time on Friday. Ohtani continues to check off boxes as he attempts to make his season debut as the team's regular DH sometime in early May. The 24-year-old won't pitch at all in 2019 after having Tommy John surgery, but he figures to help fantasy owners plenty with his bat after hitting .285/.361/.564 with 22 home runs, 61 RBI and 10 stolen bases in his rookie season. He needs to be stashed in all leagues. Justin Bour/Albert Pujols will platoon at first base when Ohtani is ready to return.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
