Montreal Canadiens defenseman Shea Weber made his season debut on Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes, posting an assist with a plus-one rating, three shots on goal, two blocked shots and a hit over 25:19 of ice time. He missed nearly a full year after surgeries for both a foot and knee ailment. He didn't show any ill effects of the injury, pairing with David Schlemko and looking awfully comfortable after such a long layoff.
