San Jose Sharks defenseman Shakir Mukhamadullin (upper body) will be sidelined for Saturday's contest against the Seattle Kraken. Furthermore, he is considered doubtful for Monday's matchup against the Calgary Flames. Mukhamadullin sustained an upper-body injury during Tuesday's loss to the Anaheim Ducks. The 23-year-old Russian scored a goal in that game, though he is not primarily known for his offensive contributions. In 30 appearances this season, Mukhamadullin has accumulated nine points (two goals, seven assists). His tally also includes 51 blocks and 25 hits. Henry Thrun, who returned from an upper-body injury on Thursday against the Edmonton Oilers, has taken Mukhamadullin's place in the lineup.
