Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Seth Jones has been ruled out indefinitely following being placed on injured reserve on Monday. The 25-year-old suffered an ankle injury in a collision with the net in the first period of his team's 2-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday. Jones' absence will be a major loss to a Jackets team currently fighting for a playoff spot as the blueliner currently leads his team in ice time (25:17) and sits fourth in scoring (30 points) through 56 games in 2019-2020. Look for defenseman Zach Werenski to shoulder an even bigger load for the Jackets until Jones can return to full health.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
