Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky will man the crease versus the visiting New York Islanders on Thursday evening. The 30-year-old will take the ice fresh off a 20-save shutout against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals on Tuesday. It's been an unexpected down year for the former two-time Vezina winner (2.90 goals-against average, .903 save percentage) but Bobrovsky is currently rocking a four-game win streak and has posted a save percentage of .900 or greater in three of those four starts. With unrestricted free-agency and the uncertainty of his future looming ahead, Bobrovsky is surely looking to step up his game in hopes of a big pay-day in July. Facing a strong yet low-scoring Islanders squad (22nd in goals-for-per-game) on Thursday, the Russian netminder looks like a strong starting option.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
