2 years agoSeattle Seahawks associate head coach and defensive assistant Sean Desai is having his second interview with the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday for their vacant defensive coordinator position. Desai is a Vic Fangio disciple and is a finalist for the job in Philadelphia that was previously held by Jonathan Gannon, who is now the Arizona Cardinals' head coach. The 39-year-old Desai was with the Seahawks in 2022 and spent the previous decade coaching the defense of the Chicago Bears under Fangio. Philly's defense used a lot of Fangio's principles under Gannon last year, and Fangio even served as a consultant for the team leading up to the Super Bowl. In addition to Desai, the Eagles have looked at Dennard Wilson, Chris Shula and Jesse Minter for the job.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
