Sam Burns Displaying Star Potential In 2021
4 years agoMany golf insiders pegged Sam Burns as a future star when he turned professional in the fall of 2017 after a prolific collegiate career at LSU. After a couple of inconsistent years on the PGA Tour, Burns appears ready to reach that potential. He logged two top-10 results during the swing season and has carried that positive momentum into the new year, posting a career-best third-place finish at the Genesis Invitational two weeks ago. Burns will attempt to keep things going at Bay Hill, a course on which he's made the cut in all three of his previous starts. He's a high-upside DFS option at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
