New York Islanders defenseman Ryan Pulock (upper body) is expected to hop back into action on Sunday against the Dallas Stars. An upper-body injury has kept Pulock sidelined for seven games. The team plans to pair Pulock with Scott Perunovich on the second defensive pairing. Although Pulock is inconsistent offensively, he remains a key component of the Islanders blue line. He has notched 16 points (three goals, 13 assists) in 48 outings while blocking 105 shots and delivering 58 hits. The Islanders defense will also welcome back Scott Mayfield (lower body). A further boost should be coming at the start of next week, as Noah Dobson (lower body) will be eligible to come off Injured Reserve.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
