Ryan Palmer finished T12 at the Sony Open in his lone start of 2022. In that outing at Waialae Country Club, he gained strokes in every major statistical category. The Texan takes that strong form into the Farmers Insurance Open this week, where he has had great success in the past. Palmer has played this event each of the past four years with two runner-up finishes, a T13, and a T21 finish. As an above-average driver of the golf ball with good approach numbers over the past few years, it makes sense why a long course like Torrey Pines would fit his game well.
