Russell Wilson Has Some Upside In Week 17
2 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson returned from a one-game absence due to a concussion in Week 16 on Christmas Day and posted yet another dud, going 15-for-27 for 214 yards, one touchdown and a season-high three interceptions in a 51-14 blowout loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Despite the poor performance and downright ugly season overall, Wilson has bounce-back potential in Week 17 against the Kansas City Chiefs in the first game since head coach Nathan Hackett's firing. The 34-year-old has been off the fantasy radar in single-QB leagues in 2022 as the QB20 in overall points, but he did have one of his best games of the season against the division-rival Chiefs in Week 14, throwing for 247 yards, three TDs and one pick. Denver's low-scoring offense will most likely have to abandon the run and force the ball into the air to keep up, giving Wilson some QB2 upside on Sunday.
