Russell Westbrook To Miss Monday's Game
6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook (personal) is still away from the team and won't play against the Kings on Monday night, according to ESPN's Royce Young.
Westbrook also missed Saturday's win over the Suns to be with his wife who gave birth to twin daughters, Skye and Jordyn. Prior to the leave of absence, he had sat out the previous five games with an ankle injury. So, while the 2016-17 MVP is expected to return to the team sometime this week, it is still unknown when he will be able to play again. Dennis Schroder and Raymond Felton will continue to see increased time at the point with Westbrook out. For fantasy purposes, Schroder remains a must-start in all leagues until Westbrook is 100 percent healthy or close to it. Meanwhile, fantasy owners can basically ignore Felton unless they need to use him in a desperate stream.
