Rosell Herrera Starting At Third Base
6 years agoFor the second night in a row, Kansas City Royals rookie Rosell Herrera is starting at third base. Following the trade of Mike Moustakas, the Royals have been running an assortment of options out to the hot corner, but Herrera's appearance there is a bit of a shock. Herrera hasn't played more than seven games at third base in any season of his professional career, so to be doing so at a major league level is surprising. That said, the Royals are dealing with a situation where they have a glut of possible outfielders, so if they can possibly find an infielder amongst them, it could be a way for another young guy to help the team rebuild quicker. It could certainly boost Herrera's fantasy value if he were to gain 3B qualification.
