Former UFC women's strawweight champion Rose Namajunas dropped a unanimous decision to surging contender Manon Fiorot in her flyweight debut in the UFC Fight Night 226 co-main event on Saturday. This UFC event marked Namajunas' return to the Octagon after losing her championship belt to Carla Esparza at UFC 274 back in May of 2022. Namajunas suffered a hand injury early in the fight that seemingly affected her heavily. Despite the injury, Namajunas was somewhat competitive throughout the contest, even winning the third round on two of the judges' scorecards. In 15 minutes of action, Namajunas landed 60 significant strikes.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller
