Roman Anthony Tallies Hit In Return
Roman Anthony (foot) returned to the starting nine on Tuesday evening and went 1-for-5 with a strikeout. This is an excellent sign as the budding star was dealing with a minor foot injury over the weekend. However, Anthony was able to make a quick return to the starting nine. Through his first 24 games of the Triple-A regular season, the No. 2-ranked prospect in the sport on MLB Pipeline has posted a stellar .306/.439/.565 slash line with five doubles, five home runs, and two stolen bases. Last season, during his first taste of Triple-A action, the outfielder posted a .344/.463/.519 slash line with 12 doubles. Given his impressive start to the campaign, Anthony should be viewed as a top stash option in all standard formats.
